Open Space and Conservation Elements

The Open Space Element is being updated to enhance climate resiliency, expand equitable park access, and stregthen wildlife habitat connectivity. The Conservation Element is being updted to identify and analyze existing and future habitat connections to promote biodiversity.

At this stage of the process, the Planning and Community Preservation Department is asking for feedback from the public to ensure that the update reflect's the community's values. Before submitting a comment, please review the draft documents available at www.sierramadreca.gov/gp/open-space.
